Halito or Ni hao,
It is ma pleasure to make this post and present it you. Let me began with me, I am a Choctaw Bay Indian which lives in Florida(Country) International, not the State of Florida.
We named Big Springs of Choctawhatchee, Choctawhatchee River, Choctawhatchee Bay and Choctawhatchee Big Springs, before it was called Marianna.
For many generations we have endured much Oppression and Genocide from different Indian tribes, Countries, and local, state, and federal government.
However there is always a Royal remanent(Royal Magazine)that remains out of all the skulldugry, propaganda, and plagarization of our peoples' history and Indentity.
As a little girl there has always been this spirit that encompassed my thinking and guided me to where I am today. It is so necessary to know who I am and Identify myself with the original Choctaw Nation, not those made fictitious by Paleskins, Redskins or Other Europeans tribes.
Recently, the U.S. Supreme court passed a law that lands could not be trust lands for Indian Tribes not recognized as of 1934. I know this hurt many tribes which believe if they get federal recognition this would entitle them to land but unfortunately it does not work that way.
So now, many have gone to Congress asking politicians to break the laws to serve these landless Indians, which should have never been recognized in the first place.
They are not first Nations they are tribes according to Codes of Federal Regulation 42 part 151, they can only claim land if their ancestory was on a federal recognized reservation and had land there.
Also you cant be an offshoot or faction from another tribe. Did you know that Indian Tribes are considered to be corporations.
Now, let's ponder this thought, if an Indian Tribes starts a corporation in another Nation's land, Do you think it fair to close or condemn that corporation for illegally conducting business without consent?
That will be answered on my next blogger in July.
When I return, there will be more shared with you about the Choctaw Bay Indians of the original Choctaw Nation, Florida. Stay Tuned!
Let me hear your comments about this blogger if you care to. Kudos!
